A Sangathan for Constitutional Resistance

We don’t run campaigns.
We don’t raise awareness.
We file RTIs, write FIRs, fight PILs,

and take to the streets.

Led by Sheikh Arsalan Ullah Chishti (a.k.a Arsalan Azad), we fight caste, queerphobia, class war, police excess, and legal erasure using the Constitution, not conferences.

This is not an organisation.
This is an oath, operationalised.

What We Fight For – 11 Fronts of Resistance

Our sangathan does not “stand in solidarity.”

We intervene. Legally. Tactically. Publicly.

1. Caste Atrocity & Police Complicity

Law: Article 15 / SC-ST (PoA) Act
Description:
We intervene in cases where police refuse to register FIRs under the Atrocities Act, protect dominant-caste perpetrators, or tamper with witness statements. We document, escalate, and file.

2. Gender-Neutral Sexual Violence Law

Law: Article 14 / BNS Section 63
Description:
India’s current law excludes male, queer, and trans survivors from filing rape complaints. We are building legal precedent and public cases to force gender-inclusive reform.

3. FIR Fabrication & UAPA Misuse

Law: Article 22 / BNSS
Description:
We track fake FIRs, preventive detentions, and misuse of UAPA and NSA to suppress dissent. Every wrongful arrest is archived and legally challenged.

4. Forced Demolitions & Land Grabs

Law: Article 300A
Description:
Basti demolitions, waqf land reclassification, Dalit land seizure all violate constitutional protection of property. We document, resist, and move to stay orders.

5. Custodial Deaths & Sexual Torture

Law: Article 21
Description:
We monitor and intervene in custodial violence cases, especially where survivors are denied medical, legal, or gender-appropriate treatment often resulting in death or permanent harm.

6. Public Data Denial

Law: RTI Act 2005
Description:
We file RTIs for water, waste, education, law enforcement, and welfare access — and expose every bureaucratic refusal to disclose. Our archive powers petitions and protest.

7. Protest Law & Sedition

Law: Article 19(1)(a)
Description:
We train citizens on how to legally protect themselves during protests, challenge Sec. 144 misuse, and prepare bail kits for sedition and unlawful assembly charges.

8. PILs & Legal Weaponisation

Law: Article 32 / 226
Description:
We draft public interest litigations for queer, Dalit, and independent communities excluded from legal protection. We build the petition from the street, not the seminar room.

9. Religious Profiling & Institutional Bias

Law: Articles 25–26
Description:
Muslim, Christian, and minoritised communities are being profiled through police, demolition, and educational discrimination. We counter this via RTI, constitutional remedy, and community defense.

10. Legalisation of Cannabis & Anti-Carceral Reform

Law: NDPS Act / Article 21
Description:
We challenge casteist incarceration patterns in cannabis-related arrests. Our campaign demands full decriminalisation and reparative policy, especially for Adivasi, Bahujan, and queer accused.

11. Independent Electoral Access & Queer Bahujan Candidacy

Law: Representation Acts
Description:
We campaign for reservation, anti-corporate regulation, and ballot access for non-party, queer and caste-oppressed candidates — beginning with Vidhan Sabha 2025 cycles.

We Are:

Students. Survivors. Workers. Queers. Advocates. Artists. Domestic workers, undertrials, dropouts, translators, political orphans.

People the census forgot and the parties erased.

What We Do:

  • File RTIs, track PILs, and archive injustice

  • Build protest SOPs and jail manuals

  • Train Mandals in BNSS, FIR law, caste + queer survival tools

  • Drop posters, file bail, and fight from rooftops

  • Distribute Pathgranths in classrooms, courts, and bastis
